Since April of 2009, I have been having strange urinary problems. For about 3 weeks, I had increased urinary frequency and urgency, as well as painful urination. This seemed to come with thirst and dry mouth.
The frequency and urgency have gone, as well as the increased thirst and dry mouth, but I am still stuck with painful urination. The urine now appears foamy as well. The pain is a burning when urinating, and then I get a lingering pain down what feels like the whole urethral tube. Another note is that it seems like no matter how much water I drink, the urine is always yellow (it used to almost always be clear).
I have no other major medical issues besides anxiety (for which I take Lexapro) and asthma (Symbicort, Singulair). I've had bloodwork (CBC and Kidney tests) done, all of which are negative for anything. I've had my urine cultured and analyzed at a urologist's office, still negative including no protein and no infection.
Where should I go from here? I was thinking of seeing a second urologist before cystoscopy just for a second opinion. This is the strangest thing to ever happen to me!
