Past Empidimitis

by Ronx, Jan 13, 2009 06:58PM
Hi Doc,

I had contracted so sort of disease, eventhough I never had sex without condoms. I went to a famous urologist, who told it is epidimitis and my left testicles became really orck solid hard like a stone. Then the antibiotics helped to recover. Now since last six month, i feel my left testicle size is reduced and the right testicle has grown in size even though the right testicle hangs upper than the left one.

I am worried about this even though there is no symptom, will I be able to father a baby?

Rgds

Hi,
How are you? It is difficult to say what it is without physical examination. Swelling of testicle or increased size could be due to a number of causes like orchitis, epidydimitis, varicocele, hydrocele, tumors etc. But this can be confirmed only after a physical examination by a urologist and scrotal ultrasound.
I would suggest that you visit a urologist for confirmation of diagnosis and further assistance on treatment.
Best.
