Penile Mondor's Disease

I have what is called penile mondor's disease, or thrombosis of the superficial dorsal vein.  I have had this condition for around 2 years now following a bout of rigorous sexual activity. The vein never healed and it is raised above the skin.  This has caused me considerate anxiety, as I am worried about the possibility of the blood clot eventually migrating and possibly causing DVT.  Should I be worried or is this condition actually harmless like most of the medical literature claims?  Has anyone else experienced this and is there any possibility of it still healing, considering how long I have had? Thanks
