Penile discharge/stringy mucus in urine

In December 2014 I had penilr discharge and tingling in my penis. I got tested and tested positive for chlamydia. I took seven days of Levaquin and then 1g of Zithromax and all symptoms went away. My partner was treated as well. I felt find for months and was even retested in early June while at a doctors appointment, I took a urine test and it was negative for chlamydia and ghonnoerea.

About a week ago I started feeling slight tingling in my uretha, nothing like when I was first diagnosed with chlamydia though. I thought maybe it was in my head and nothing more. Then it started feeling like urine was "leaking" out during the day but no noticeable discharge. I also felt like I needed to urinate more, felt like I wasn't emptying my bladder when I urinate and sometimes a weak stream.

Now yesterday morning I woke up with creamy off white (maybe slightly yellow) dischargd come out of the top of my penis. I was able to milk a little bit out of it. This morning I had the same discharge. Last night I urinated in a clear cup and noticed quite a bit of stringy mucus and little white particles floating in my urine.

I'm a 34 year old male and I have only had the same sex partner since being treated in December. She has only been with me. And once again I tested negative in June.

What does this sound like?

The symptoms that you write about in your second paragraph are very typical of an enlarged prostate gland.  That is why it is an urgent matter that your get your prostate checked.  It may be that or may be due to other problems.  The only way to find out for certain is to see your doctor or urologist and get the appropriate test done.

As far as I know about chlamydia, using the appropriate antibiotic should treat it.  As you had 2 tests that came back negative, it is unlikely to be that, unless you got reinfected.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns regarding the STI's.  I would have thought that as the urine tests were specifically for chlamydia and ghonnoerea, it would have been detected had you been positive.

You do need to get your prostate and urinary tract checked urgently.
If you notice that you want to pee, but can't and your belly starts to enlarge, go to the hospital for urgent evaluation.

Thank you for the reply. Is there any chance that the chlamydia from seven months ago wasn't fully treated and came back? Or was possibly dormant during my June urine test. Thanks again and I will get into a doctor asap.

These new symptoms may be that of a urinary tract infection.
The sensations of wanting to pee and having difficulty or a problems with emptying the bladder properly with a weak stream can signal a problem with the prostate gland.

Make an urgent appointment to see your doctor. Take a morning mid stream urine sample with you in a clean container (or get a specimen bottle from the surgery) and explain your symptoms to your doctor.

The doctor may decide to send your urine to the laboratory for analysis; if he sees an infection on the urine dip stick, he may prescribe you with an antibiotic.  The doctor may also arrange for a blood test to be taken to check your PSA levels, this is to check for prostate problems.

The doctor may refer you to the urologist.

Make an urgent appointment to see your doctor or a urologist.

Let me know how you get on.
