Penis Bump

by D'angelo, Nov 27, 2006 12:00AM
I'm in need of some great help and or advice. I've had a bump on my penis for a little over five years and it's become very irritating. It started out as a single bump right below the tip of my penis on the shaft. This bump use to come and go in the same exact spot of my penis. Actaully the bump never leaves the spot, it's always visible but sometimes it just grows a little bigger and becomes hard at times. I went to a doctor 3 years ago and he couldn't tell me what it was. I was tested for herpes and that test was negative. I finally did something I probably shouldn't have done, i busted the bump. When I burst the bump clear fluid came out of it. Now 2 more bumps have appeared on the other side of my bump directly beneath the tip of my penis on the shaft. The new bumps just leak out clear fluid on there own free will at times. I experience the more fluid and more hardness on penis when it's erect. I have prostatitus and I don't know how much a role that plays in what I'm going through.
I've tested negative for all other STD's although my wife was diagnosed with HPV.The doctor told my wife she has the charateristics of HPV. Can I have something and given it to her which might have given her a misdiagnosis? I went to 2 different doctors a month ago and they both said it wasn't a wart, but they didn't know what it actually was either. This bump actually looks like a mini lesion with a bump on the end of it. This last doctor may have blindedly prescribed me aldara which seem to have worked at first but I don't think it did. All it did was leave me some nasty scabs in the areas where the aldara was applied. What can this be? I also have bad face breakouts with large painful bumps. Can candida yeast infection be involved or something. Could something be affecting my immune system. I was on the worlds strongest antibiotics for about 3 years trying to fight prostatitus. Can this affect my sex with my wife, orally also. Please give some advice on medications or procedures that I can take to my doctor on my next visit, I need help badly, I can't take it anymore. I will tell the Doctor I found the info online. Someone has to have an answer.

It is difficult to say without evaluation.

You have been tested for many of the more obvious possibilities - including genital warts and herpes.  STDs like gonorrhea, syphillis and chlamydia can be considered and tested for as well.

A referral to a dermatologist can be considered.  Dermatitis or a fungal infection can be considered.  If necessary, a skin biopsy can be considered for a more definitive diagnosis.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
