Penis Gland Bumps

Just got back from the doctor and what I thought was molluscum on my shaft turned out to be bumps produced by the glands.

However, I'm still extrememly stressed out over them. Any time I am in a sexual relationship it is very weird for me (and the girl) because she's going to assume its some type of std, herpes or something. these bumps are causing me a lot of anxiety and are killing my confidence.

Are there procedures available that can treat bumps caused by glands on the penile shaft? Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, self limiting viral infection of the skin. In adults, molluscum infections are often transmitted by close contact and touch but it can be sexually transmitted and can transmit from one site to other skin sites by autoinoculation. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage. Please discuss these treatment options with your dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
