Penis Irritation

Over the past 5 weeks I've had a few kidney stones.  At last count, I have 3 more that are approx. 4mm in size.  The pain has been mild accompanied by nausea, and I've gotten to know the variations of my personal discomfort.

So now I have an irritation just inside the tip of my penis that is red and about 2 - 3 mm inside.  It almost looks as though it is cut.  There is no discharge or other discoloration.  It's not painful, just kind of irritating, like a mild uniary tract infection.

I am really puzzled.  I'm not certain if it is related to the kidney stones, or if it some form of std, though I practice sex only with a condom.  

Any help would be most appreciated.

It is possible that there was some irritation if the stone was passed.  STDs and other infections are also possible.  I would consider urine tests to evaluate for a UTI as well as STDs, such as gonorrhea or chlamydia.  

If negative, a cystoscopy can be considered to evaluate for any trauma or anatomical abnormalities (i.e. urethral stricture or urethral polyp) which can cause the symptoms.
