Penis Pain

I have been experiencing a lite burning pain  in my penis located on the right-underside portion towards the end of my shaft but before the head. The pain is localized to this area, is continuous, and does not increase while urinating.  
Here's what I think may have happened...
I am a young man who takes viagra as a crutch to help with performance anxiety.  4 days ago I started taking an amino acid supplement that that had a few grams of L-arginine in it.  I took the viagra later that evening, had a very hard erection during intercourse, and then began noticing the pain shortly following that.  Is it possible that I may have dilated the blood vessels too much and stretched or torn a vessel or one of my corpora cavernosa? There is not external indication of damage to my penis (no color change, texture change, etc.), just a lite burning feeling. I have stopped taking the supplement.  I am still able to get erections with and without the viagra and I don't experience any additional pain with an erection.  If this is the reason for my pain, how long can I expect before it heals? Is there any chance I would need surgery or an invasive procedure? Is there anything I can do to ease the burning feeling? Anything else I should look for? I figure I will watch it for a few days and then see a doctor it the pain persists.  Any suggestions you have would be helpful.

It could be a UTI possibly but there is vitrually 0% chance it is gonorrhea or another STD.

The first think I would do is to exclude UTI and STDs (no matter how small the possibility).  Easy tests such as a urinalysis and urethral swab can be done to make sure an infection is not the cause.

If that has been excluded, tests such as a cystoscopy can be considered to look for urethral strictures or polyps.  Anatomical abnormalities can be looked for via an ultrasound - these tests can be discussed wtih your personal physician or urologist.

The question regarding surgery or an invasive procedure would depend on what is found during the preliminary tests.  The urine tests and urethral swab would be the most reasonable first steps.  

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

i need help, i was playing sport and the ball flew right at my penis and now it hurts so badly. I dont know what to do. Im scared. Please tell me what i can do to ease the pain?
