Hello,
Common causes causing erection problem are stress and anxiety, poor communication with your partner, unrealistic sexual expectations, which make sex a task rather than a pleasure, negative feelings about non performance, smoking, alcohol and sometimes illicit drugs and some medical conditions. The pain in penis is due to friction rub or chaffing during intercourse. Talk to your partner openly about any fears or apprehensions, eat nutritious healthy food, exercise regularly and cut down on smoking or alcohol if you are taking it. Wash the areas several times with fresh water and do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a urologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Sir, the problem is not of expectation. I never had problem while masturbating but now when i do, it is painful. i feel i have hurt my penis while having sex. I am uncircumcised and my foreskin almost covers my penis head just leaving very little gap to pass urine. Do you think my being not circumcised is the reason for this? also, these days i feel some pain on head of my penis below the foreskin whenever i am erect . the area is not visible to me, so i am not able to understand how badly it is hurt. But slowly i feel pain is reducing and my penis is healing. i have stopped masturbating or try for intercourse. Shall i continue with this. How much time do you think it can take to heal?
Hello,
From the recent explanation of symptoms, I would like to rule out phimosis due to formation of an adhesive ring. Phimosis is a constriction of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be drawn back over the tip of the penis. Treatment includes application of a steroid cream to the foreskin up to three times a day for about a month to loosen the adhesive ring. If ballooning during micturition is present, then surgical removal of all or part of the foreskin(circumcision) may be recommended. My sincere advice would be to consult a urologist.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
