Hi,

It is normal for the penis to be soft when you don't have an erection.

Penis size has allways been a debate, but normaly we would say that 5" and less is considered small.

Why do you think that you might have done nerve damage? Is there a lack of sensation in your penis?

If indeed there is a lack of blood flow to the penis than this needs to be infestigated as there can be other things wrong.

Can you obtain and maintain an erection? Is the penis hard when you have an erection.
I myself have erectile dysfunction and I use medication in the form of injections to obain an erection. The urologist based an erction on that the penis is firm enough not to bend and therby allow penitration.

If your penis is firm when erect one can rule ou ED and lack of blood flow to the penis. At 17 you should not have a problem getting an erection. If an erection can be achieved than size does not matter much.

All the best

Hello,
I don’t think that you have any medical problem. The non erect penis is always soft and the size of a penis is 5.1 to 5.9 inches long.unless and until you have an erection, there is no problem with the nerve and blood supply to the penis. For increasing the size of penis, apart from jelquing penis stretching and kegel exercises are also useful.Other methods include using penis stretchers or extenders or getting surgery done.

I would suggest you to discuss these options with a urologist if you are not satisfied with the size, otherwise there is nothing to worry about.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care. Please do keep me posted if you have any further queries on the same.
