Penis shaft is firm when flaccid

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me. Approximately a month ago Ive noticed that the shaft of my penis is is very firm when flaccid (not erect). I went to see a GP doctor and and got their opinion. They told me not to worry and would go away after a few days. Well after a month I hardly notice any changes. I also sometimes get slight pain and discomfort. I dont know if this is serious and whether I should see a urologist. Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Have a urologist check for scar tissue via ultrasound.  Also possible urethral stricture, checked with an endoscopy.  Make sure they use a flexible scope and not a ridged one.

Chlamydia and Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma are sometimes undetectable by tests.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

This may not be something urgent. Have you tried palpating the entire shaft? Note for any lumps or bumps on the penis. Are there any palpable mass or swelling? Are there any redness or pain n palpation?

If these are not present, just continue to observe your symptoms. It is also important that you should not have any problems with urination and sexual response. If there are any problems with these then it is best to have follow up consult with your physician.

Practice self testicular examination. Do you do this?

sorry no one seemed to respond to your question. I think thtas messed up.
But really this sort of thing obviously stumps many so called urologists that are equipped with the knowledge of 5 different medicines for anything that deals with the penis.
