Penis vein problem

Hey, I have been concerned about the veins in my penis for a last 1½ weeks. I noticed one new, visible vein on the left side of my penis, and that the other veins that were before only slightly visible had now become much more prominent and bulging. And this is when I'm not hard. When I have erection these veins are not so visible, unless I'm standing: then they ugly pop up to the surface (hasn't happened before, not this much at least).

Anyway, I immediately started to search the net to find out what was wrong, and read through everything that sounded even slightly of my problem, from varicose veins to lymphatic vessel thrombosis. Well, what I found out from Penis Enlargement forums (heh) actually sounded kinda much the condition that I have: these guys who have been doing all these kind of jelqing and stretching exercises (I'm not one of them if anyone suspects..) say that after few weeks they started to get new veins to their penises, and they were showing even when flaccid (just like mine).

They say that it's completely natural that your penis reacts to the exercises like that. Well, I haven't been doing anything like that of course, but I think that there could be another reason for my veins to bulge: I've been *sigh* jerking off for some time now kinda intensively. Maybe too long sessions, too many times a day with a little too strong grip have caused my veins to grow so much?

Well, now comes the question part. Can you reduce vein size back to what it used to be? I mean are veins like muscles: if you don't use them they start to become smaller? I have thought that if I jerked off from now on max once per 2 days (a lot less work to the veins than before) very gently, could they start to reduce in size? Or are there other ways to make them smaller and less visible? Getting a little more fat?

If someone has an answer for this I would be sooo grateful. This thing has a very bad effect to my self-esteem, because my **** used to be those few things in my body that I was happy with, and I hate to think that it'll be ugly like this for the rest of my life.

I've had the same problem for the past two weeks. I think it is due to change in pants. I started wearing tighter jeans and tighter underwear about a month ago. (I also started having more of those random erections for another reason, but I don't think it's related) Today I decided to test this hypothesis and wore loose trousers and underwear. The veins have considerably decreased in size and are much less noticeable.

So I recommend trying wearing loose clothes for a few days and also being careful with sex and masturbation (especially when condoms are involved).

Let me know if this helps!

I am having the same problem with new veins appearing. I am 25 years old and I have already had surgery for varicose veins in my leg and need to have a second surgery. My penis does not hurt like my leg does, but should I be concerned seeing as I have problems with vericose veins already?

Hi I've got the same issue and I'm wondering should I just leave it and it will go away? I don't want to see a doctor as I don't want them to see my penis if I'm honest!

Hi,

I have a similar problem with an exception, however, I know where I got my veins from. It all started after having pushed my penis hard while fully erect against an impenetrable surface (Not exactly but I'd like to keep the details for myself), anyway, I believe it's due to high pressure.

In the beginning I went online and looked for answers; some suggested it takes 6 weeks to whatever time to get back to normal, provided that no rough sex or masturbation is involved during the healing period. Well, nothing changed and I ignored it for a long time. However, 2 years later my scrotum began to itch, and I started to notice something that looked like a lump or cyst so I suspected testicular cancer and went for examination...

Surprisingly, there was nothing found to be wrong down there and my urologist said it was completely natural for new veins to grow in that area with age (I am 35 only), and that there were no cysts or anything scary found. May I mention that my urologist did an ultrasound checkup and an erection test. Anyway, I kept researching the subject and apparently cysts are solid or hard whereas the one I got is jelly and moves when I push it around. It almost feels like my own semen is trapped in there. Again, another vein grew just below the ring and I went for another checkup with another urologist and nothing wrong was found....

Now, I still have the same problem, the jelly substance has increased in volume and it is still itchy down there. Moreover, my ejaculation is not as good as it used to be in terms of distance and quantity. It almost feels like something is stopping it from flowing freely, but it does come out. Now the reason I am still worried is because occasionally I get pain and some of the veins at the bottom of my testicles are swollen a bit and seem to be under pressure or something. I am 100% sure something is wrong down there but I have very little trust in the medical  industry and I do not wish to get naked anymore in front of men or having men touch my thing because I am very uncomfortable with that idea.

Note: For the past year, I have been away from my wife due to work, thus I do masturbate 3-4 times a week simply because I need to get the sexual urge out of my system as I tend to become stressed out if I don't, and because it is a lot healthier than simply suppressing/ignoring it.

Any valuable input will be highly appreciated.

Did your problem go away?

Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge and personal experience.
