Post vasectomy pain

My husband had a vasectomy done 9 days ago - Can you tell me if it is normal for him to have a sharp pain ejaculating? I know it’s early days, he is also very busied.

Did they not tell your husband to wait for 6 weeks? I had a vasectomy done and after 3 days I ended up with a hematoma (blood clot). I had not even returned back to work yet since I worked as a heavy duty mechanic. I ended up getting emergency surgery to remove the hematoma.

Your husband should abstain from any sexual activity,including masterbation (masturbation), heavy lifting, or sharp bending. Give it rest to heal.
