Prostate treatment

aged 86 having catheter for the past 6 months , no other complaints like sugar, pressure.. Presently decided for surgeryTURP and doctors attended and after takiing all the tests, incl.PSA,scan,they advised to take medicines
Tablet LARICEF, Tandura, Raciper and C one up prescribed for a month to reduce the urea, They give in the report that after a month, they planned to test removing catheter , then if the sr. creatinine is <2.0 grms TURP , other wise Trocor SPC to decide.. Now after 7 days urine culture tested and result is:
moderate growth gram negative bacilli seen in 48 hrs incubation urine.

In the blood test as on date result: Urea 63 mgs./Dl (10-50)
Creatinine 1.5 mgs / dl (0.2 to 1.4)

NOW HAS ITCHING IN THE MOUTH OF THE PENIS IN WHICH CATHETER IS INSERTED, ALONG WITH ITCHES ALL OVER THE BODY.  
Please advise me   (1) to solve the irriation.
(2) whether surgery or Trocor is necessary? Can continue with the catheter?
