At the same time, the fairly persistent chronic balanitis gets worse. Usually this lasts for a couple of days before getting somewhat better, only to repeat all over again.
I can't seem to get anyone to take the problem seriously. Somewhat unfortunately while all this was going on I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and had to undergo surgery for possible thyroid cancer (thankfully the nodules were benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo). I have seen a dermatologist to attempt to treat the balanitis, but not much luck with topical creams. I've also seen a urologist, but all he did was send me for a cystoscopy and then refuse to see me for a followup (even though a cystoscopy is not diagnostic for chronic prostatitis!)
Am I going crazy, or does this sound like prostatitis? It's seriously affecting my quality of life... I'm young, only 22, but I have constant pain in my groin and some difficult getting an erection. Sex is uncomfortable and I try to avoid it.
Hello,
Your symptoms are suggestive of prostatitis. It is an inflammation of the prostate gland. From your symptoms,it can be due to acute prostatitis.
You will need ultrasound, X-ray, and computerized tomography (CT) along with prostatic fluid examination along with prostate specific antigen to confirm the diagnosis.Pls take a second opinion from a urologist.
I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
I have similar problems but I get a constant tingle/burning sensation that has been going on now for nearly 10 weeks!it goes when I need a pee but when I have finished the burning starts again, can this also cause your lympth nodes to feel tender at all?
