Prostatitis inflamation gone but still feel the pressure in rectum

I have been diagnosed with prostatitis around 3 weeks ago. I had beed on levaquin for 10 days and several rocephine 1g injection. After 3 weeks of treatment my urologist told me that the infection is gone. Had a urine culture that shows no infection. I dont have any prostatitis symptoms except for the pressure feeling in my rectum.especially when i sit down for a long time. My urologist told me that this normal, part of the healing process and could take up to 1 or 2 month to be conpletely symptom free. He now put me on duodart(alpha blocker). I just want to know if anyone had been through similar scenario like mine? Pls help

Hi b. when i was off on antibiotics about 2 weeks ago. I had some pain in the testicle area, sensitivity in the urethra for about a week. My urologist told me that this is part of the healing process. I now dont have the pain in my testicle area anymore which i think is true what the urologist told me. However i can still feel the pressure in my rectum which made me worried that there might still be infection in the prostate. Anyone out there had ever gone through this? Im very worried because this pressure feeling is causing me discomfort.

Hi Jason's

I don't know if this helps but I do know that the prostate can take a will to heel as its hard to get the drugs needed to that area of the body low blood flow so hold tuff for a while longer, and if you don't see results head straight back.

Just as a matter of interest what were the symptoms you had as I'm currently have pain in my testicles and suspect it could be what you had?

Any info would be grea and if you have any questions just ask I may have some if I picked up on my research.

Thanks

B
