Prostatitis?

Long story-Thought I had STD, tested neg for chlamydia/gonorrhea/trich with swab and urine. Have pain in penis, hard to tell where, have to pee all the time, formerly was sex active now don't have desire to have erection. Am 35. Happening for 3 weeks now. Dr. said prostatitis, did check, says inflammed, proscribed cipro. Urologist says prostititis, said should take doxycilian, too. Now taking both, been about two weeks, seems like urine stream is getting narrower each day. Worried about it stopping altogether...Is it poss misdiagnosed? Urethritis or stricture or both? Or STD tests wrong? No weird discharge, except one small clear drop each morning when get out of bed. Should be worried drs. are wrong? What can I do? Help!

Yes, possibly misdiagnosed if not improving on the right antibiotics (cipro & doxy), and getting worse.   If it stops, go get seen since you don't want your bladder to get stretched out.

STD tests can be wrong, if you don't have a discharge, some tests aren't as accurate if you're not symptomatic when tested.
