Prostrate Gland REGROWTH
About 10 years ago my dad had a problem of INFLAMATION of prostate gland. He underwent surgery of TURP. At that time he was declared fit.

At the time of first surgery the "psa test" was "negative".

For almost 10 years he had no complain of blockage. Recently, again he had complain of urine path blockage. Again he had to undergo TURP surgery of prostate gland (after @ 10 years) for removal of the blockage of the urinary path.

Question 1. Is it common that prostate gland REGROWS / gets INFLAMATED after about a decade of surgery?
Question 2. Can it be construed that even after the first surgery he was still not fully cured?
Question 3. Can the Growth (INFLAMATION) of Prostate gland after about a decade of performing TURP surgery be considered in any way related to the first surgery?  If yes in which way?
