I have been to the Dr. several times, CBC normal in May 20.., then in June 6 started neuropathy then fatigue, malaise and frequent urination 15 times. June 13 check for other STD negative.. June 24 lower B12 238, , Liver functions normal. HIV neg after 65 days 8.5 weeks.
July 2nd dr visit  Blood sugar okay.  NEW CBC showed high WBC 13.2 normal below 10. Gran-H 9.4 Normal 8 everything else was normal.
Dr. general did prostate check and said prostitus? The issue is after 9 days on ciproflaxin 500mg twice daily. I still have some neuropathy like symptoms arms, chest sometimes underarms no lower extremities. I have been on B12 supplement since June 24 1000mg.  No burning while peeing, strong stream but urinating 15 times a day still.

What other problem could it be. If not better by Tuesday Urologist is a must. But what other problem should I be looking for?  What test should have General run on Tuesday besides another CBC? Welcome comments from Doctors...

Hi there!

Well, without knowing the relevant clinical details or a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include systemic infections, inflammations, metabolic issues, hormonal/ endocrine causes, micronutrient deficiencies, electrolyte abnormalities, hematological issues, anemia, growths/ masses etc. While fatigue and malaise could be causes due to prostatitis, the neuropathy is unlikely to be related. The symptoms may or may not completely be related to urological causes. I would suggest getting this evaluated in detail by an internist initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

Hello,
It can be due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, peripheral vascular disease, vitamin B12 deficiency, neurological causes or malnutrition.

Get your blood sugar and thyroid hormones levels also evaluated. If the symptoms persist then get the above mentioned possibilities ruled out from a neurologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
