Psoriasis or Jock itch??

Hi,
About a month ago I acquired jock itch (somehow, I don't know how - I don't go to the gym or anything and I'm single, I just don't know how my junk came into contact with anything other than a tanning bed I used to frequent)...
I went through the standard otc treatmant, and after a few weeks it was all good, but I have been using the tinactin powder a few times a day as a precaution, as well as the creme at night.
Well it clearned up in all places but one, the glans of my penis.
Now, I do get psoriasis down there some times too... it can present as red circles or raised red irregualr plaques... I have a 1% steroid mix i use as lightly and evenly as possible (so as i dont get skin thinning etc - scary place for that) and it usually does the trick.
Now what I see on my penis is more of a red irregular line, that is relatively clear on the inside - it isn't really red, except for the rather clear demarcation line.

Bought this Dermalmd psoriasis serum to help with my stress-induced psoriasis, the redness and itchiness decreased since using it, I just need to work on the stress that is causing it.

Thanks for the reply. I was planning on seeing someone, it's just embarrassing and also I thought if it's some some kind of fungus/yeast that the Tinactin wouldn't treat, it would be as easy as the correct otc cream/ointment/powder/whatever! haha

Hi,

I don't think that what you have is serious. It is possible that this was caused by yeast. However you need to be seen by a doctor to determine the cause of it. There are many different causes for this rash.

Also, I should state it isn't itchy or uncomfortable at all... but when i put powder on my glans i can feel a bit of a ridge where the red line is, its a little rougher than it normally is... i am scared it is penis cancer or something horrible.
