Question on hydroceles

I had a ultrasound a week ago on my testicals since Ive noticed my right testical was swollon. I was diagnosed with a hydrocele. One question I would like to ask from anyone who has ever had an experiance with a hydrocele, Does it cause your tesitcals to feel hard? I know a hard testical could be a sign of cancer and its been bottering me thinking they've might of missed something in the ultrasound.

I forgot to add , my right testical which was diagnosed with the hydrocele is the one that feels hard compared to the other.
