I went to see my gp today.  He was a little miffed at the "ulcerative colitis" assumption.  He said, "We live in an age where we want to find the solutions to everything, and we know that we can.  So let's keep looking."  He suggested another appointment with another urologist.  I see him on the 16th of March.  If we find anything useful, I will post it for your reference.
