Well, I saw the second urologist today.  It was a much better experience, and I feel like he is going to at least take everything as far as his experience will allow.  He was open to ideas, and he realizes that I am in serious pain.  He at least took the time to check my prostate - the other urologist didn't bother.  He also went further by tring antiinflammatories and an antibiotic.  If anything comes of them, I will be sure to post their names (I don't have them handy right now)
Even though this course of action doesn't seem promising (after reading some of the posts here) at least it's a positive step, especially in consideration of the lack of steps the previous urologist took.
After the course of antibiotics and antiins, I see him again in two weeks.  I'll keep posting!!  C
