I have a lump in my scrodum (not on a testical) that feels like a hard grain of rice. Desinsitised, it is located at the top of the scrodum close to my body
Bill,
For a lump to be testicular cancer, it must be ON the testicle, not just in the scrotum. If this lump is not bothering you, you probably do not have to do anything. The next time you see your doctor you can mention it, but I do not think that it requires a special trip. Of course, we can't diagnose anything over the internet. My adivce is based on the fact that the lump is not on the testicle.
Good Luck
Doug
