Several years ago, I developed a pain in my left

Testicle ultrasound. There has been no further treatment for it.
Since then, for about six years now, I've lived with this varying pain in the

Testicle ultrasound and abdomen. I've had a very happy healthy baby and am now considering a vasectomy for birth control.
At the time I have the operation, should I also have the varicocele operated on? Will this remove or reduce the pain?
Thanks.
I'm not the doctor, and it looks like the doctor isn't going to repond.
Anyway, Fixing the varicocele will probably help the problem, but it is probably a more significant operation than the vasectomy. More significant, but still minor surgery.
Basically, you will need to discuss this with your urologist.
Good Luck!
