Recurring Uti's -Help!

I have had 5 Uti's in the past 6 months.  I was woken up in the middle of the night with extreme pain in my groin. I thought it was gas, but then it was too intense.  I had to pace back in forth in my bedroom.  It felt like if I pooped or urinated it would help the pain.  When I went to go the bathroom nothing would come out.  I knew I had to urinate, but nothing.  I had my husband drive me to the hospital it was so unbearable.  The results were a UTI.  I wasn't having any burning or many trips to the bathroom, it was extreme pain in my groin and no urinating.  I know what a UTi felt like and this did not feel like that at all!  The doctor acted annoyed by me, but the nurse really thought I had a kidney stone.  ANyways, I have been on Levaquin, Cefrofuxamine (sp) Nitrofurantoin (sp) and I am currently taking Cipro.  I have been having bad spastic right back pain, pain across my belly button and groin pain.  It radiates all on my right side on and off. My urine has a lot of little white particles in it everytime I urinate.  WHen I push to use the bathroom, not much still comes out. I am not at all relieved and I really have to push, in which causes bad groin pain.  WHen I get up from sitting for awhile, it feels like I pulled muscles in my groin, it stops me in my tracks.  If anyone may know what is going on with me, I would really appreciate the input! I don't see a urologist until October 5th.  And now I don't think this UTI I currently have is going away with the Cipro, today is  my last day of taking it and I still have the pain.  Please help !

Hi martuni7,  I also have a lot of UTI's and am getting concerned as this has been happening for years.  First let me tell you that you should never push to urinate.  I however would like to ask how you made out with the doctor.  Were you satisfied?  I went to a urologist and he told me I didn't  have an infection and thought I never did.  I just had 3 consecutive tests which were positive.  Don't know what to do.  Ciel
