So I mean the non palpable testicular cancer
And have one more question .
Does the US pick up cancer even if it is just entire the testicle and not yet on surphase of testicle to feel the lump ?
As from then I have occasionally pelvic pain, back pain and all the same side where the testicle did and sometimes hurts.
Don't I need to check the prostate?
By the way, urine test came negative last month and have no blood check done
Hello,
An ultrasound usually detects a tumor or cancer and if it is coming negative then chances of a testicular tumor are less likely. Get kidney stones ruled out by x-ray or KUB ultrasound (kidney urinary bladder) and also get spermatocele evaluated. Spermatocele is a retention cyst of a tubule and is benign in nature. Usually they are left as such if not causing any symptom, but if they are causing pain, then they have to be removed.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and regards.
Dear doctor,
Thanks.
Due to your advice I visited an urologist. She made an ultrasound to me an urine test.
The ultrasound found spermatocele and there was no blood work made. It was ot necessary for my urologist as the scan was very clear.
Urine check was negative.
She could no know if it was epididymitis. She sent me for kidney check for stones and also for an X-ray. I will do that next month.
Do I still have to worry from testicular cancer? Does the ultrasound also show the mass even if it is inside testis? Does what happened to me not mean that a mass is going to be made?
Hello,
It looks like epididymitis rather than any cancer. This is more common in young men and may cause a heavy sensation in the testicle area. The area becomes more and more sensitive to pressure.
Epididymitis are caused by sexually transmitted diseases, spread of infection from urinary tract infections or prostate infections, Chlamydia or retrograde (backward) flow of urine when exercising or having sex with a full bladder.
If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a urologist. You need a physical examination from an urologist along with urine analysis, complete blood count, testicular ultrasound and scan and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Treatment will depend on the cause.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
