Should I be concerened with low creatinine levels?

by Soultruth, May 05, 2009 11:24AM
I just received some results and the level for my creatinine. It has a range of 0.70-1.20 for the reference range and my results came back low as a 0.59. Should I be concerned with this low number? And is there anything I can or should do? Can you help?

Hi,

Low blood levels of creatinine are not common and are not usually a cause for concern. They can be seen in people or with conditions that result in decreased muscle mass.
Please be assured and there’s nothing to worry about the same.

I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
