Fleet sof-lax enemaBarium enema because I was probably just constipated (I’m pretty
regularRegular insulin). I did that with no change in my pain. After two weeks I was sent for an ultrasound which showed something in my left kidney. My doctor then sent me in for a CAT scan and the radiologist said it looked like a dense area in my left kidney about 9 millimeters in size and appeared to be
benignBenign ear cyst or tumor
Benign positional vertigo.
I’ve had dull pains it that area for months (the pain gets considerably worse when you push on my abdomen) but lately I have also had sharp stabbing pains as well. I don’t have any pain in my back kidney area.
I also had a couple of incidences when urinating. A
substanceDrug abuse that looks like small pieces of clear skin are in my urine (no frequency in urinating no blood in my urine). I took a sample in to show my doctor and she said it may just be mucus. It looks like tissue to me. I had a urine test that came back normal. I had a pelvic exam that was normal.
My doctor said she does not think my kidney is of concern and is referring me to a Gastroinologist. I’m worried about this because I have had to really push for each and every test I have had thus far.
I haven’t had any past major health issues. The only other thing I have is melasma on my face that hasn’t gone away (my last son is three years old).
Should I be concerned about my kidney? Urologist or Gastroinologist, what do you think?
Thanks
