Shrunken left testicle and it retracts

Hello, I am 22 and about a few months ago I noticed that my left testicle was shrunken, and sometimes it retracts.  I am very worried that this might be something serious. A few months before(maybe less then that) the same testicle was swollen, but it was just an infection and the doctor cleared it up with medicine.  Also sometimes(once in a month, maybe sooner) I notice yellow ejaculation.  Is something wrong?

One possibility is that this is the result of the cremasteric reflex.  The normal response in males is a contraction of the cremasteric muscle that pulls up the scrotum and testis on the side stroked, sometime leading to retraction of the testicle.

A hernia can also cause this symptom, and this should be evaluated by a urologist.

Regarding the shrunken testicle, I would suggest a scrotal ultrasound to evaluate whether the blood flow to the testicle or if the testicle itself has any abnormality causing any abnormal size.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
