Side effects BCG Bladder Cancer Treatment

After approximately 21 BCG Treatments(2 surgeries) 6 scopes, I am now considered cancer free; however, am experiencing a lot of problems voiding. About 30 times a day with urgency, some burning and spasms. Is this to be expected as my doctors seem to suggest and if so, how long will this go on ?. It is effecting my life style even tho I wear depends constantly.
