My question has probably been asked a million times but I am going to ask anyway.  I am a 36 year old male in good health, albeit I have to take testosterone gel packs as my normal testosterone levels have been abnormally low for as long as I can remember.  I have a penis that is below the stated average size for a male, I also have issues with erections for which I take Viagra.  I see herbal supplements on TV, the internet as well as in print media advertising for increases in penis size.  Does any of these supplements work?  Is there any way to increase penis size?  Surgically or otherwise?

Thanks

David

Hello - thanks for asking your question.

While there are many advertisments for herbal supplements, none of them have been studied in consensus medical trials to recommend.  There may be anecdotal reports or data from small studies, but to my knowledge, there is no "magic pill" that has been accepted by the general medical community to increase penis size.

There are several surgical procedures.  Penis enlargement surgery (phalloplasty) can be done via lengthening or widening using grafts.  Other procedures includes liposuction, albugineal/cavernosal (A/C) penile widening and pericavernosal (P/C) penile widening.
