Slight burning and redness inside urethra

by randy12987, Aug 05, 2009 10:39PM
I was having sex with my gf for the first time unprotected. i was behind her standing up and when I inserted it a few times it was ok. I put it in all the way and i felt this pain. It really hurt. it subsided quickly however. This happened about 2 to 3 weeks ago. I was sore the next day but began feeling better afterwards. I havent had sex since then. Since then Ive felt this very slight burning sensation in the same spot where I felt pain but very on and off. I also feel that same pain as well every other day maybe and it goes away quickly. I opened the tip of my penis as much as possible without harming myself to get a better look. i noticed it was very red. Now Im sure I either contracted something from my ex gf or I did damage to my urethra somehow while I was having sex with her that day. What the heck is this? When will it go away? Why did it hurt so much when i stuck it in all the way? Why does it keep hurting?  Do I have a disease or infection? Someone please help me.

To: randy12987,
Hello,
Your symptoms can be due to friction during intercourse or urethritis. Urethritis is an inflammation of the urethra.

Take some warm sitzbaths(don’t add anything to the water) and anti inflammatory pain killers like Diclofenac or Ibuprofen if there is any pain.If the symptoms persist then pls consult a urologist as antibiotics may be needed. Also investigations to rule out gonococcal urethritis may be needed.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
