Small BB sized lumps on testicle

  I'm 48 years old and over the last six months or so I have noticed two small round lumps abount the size of a BB on my left testicle. There is also a very small irregular bumb a bit higher. They both can be rolled around slightly with my fingernail but only a milimeter or so. They seem like they are on the surface of the testi. My gereal practicioner said that it was not cancer because the lumps are not inside of the testi but on the outside. What is your opinion.
