Small bump on shaft of penis

So I have a small bump on the shaft of my penis that I've had for about a month now.  When I first noticed it, it was kind of yellow and resembled the acne on my shoulders.  For the last couple of days I have been applying my acne medication to it, and it seems to have gotten smaller, and now is hard to see and flesh colored unless I'm erect.  If I pinch it, it feels hard but it doesn't hurt at all.  I thought it might be an STD but the only thing that seemed it could be is HPV/genital warts.  I'm going to go get tested asap, but I was wondering if there was anything else this could possibly be?

The painless lump that  you having seems like a sebaceous cyst. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains a "pasty" or "cheesy" looking substance called keratin. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
