Small bumps around groin area

I usually shave around my groin area,  last time being about a week and a half ago.   About a week ago I started noticing some reddish, brown bumps on the skin above my groin.  There seems to be around 15 or so of them and are spread out across the area that I have shaved.   I usually don't have irritation when I shave so I started wondering what it could be because I have had unprotected sex recently.  About 6 weeks ago and the then again the weekend I shaved.   The bumps don't have any fluid in them, no puss,  but will bleed if you scrape the head off,   They are all pretty much Red now that I have scrubbed the area.  They seem to all be broken open.  They don't hurt, itch at all,  even when touching.  The bumps are all perfectly round, not grouped, and pretty much the same size. Also I currently am having an outbreak of tinea versicolor which is a fungus,  some spots are in the same area.  I was wondering if recently shaving might have left my skin open to infection,  if I might have picked up something from the girl I was with. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid.  I took a picture of the bumps as well.

This could be some irritation from shaving.  The follicles can become irritated if the shaving is too close.  Shaving too close may also predispose to ingrown hairs, which get red and bumpy.  

Other possibilities would be an infection (i.e. an STD like herpes) or dermatitis.  

You may want to discuss this via a dermatology referral.
