Small hard lump 1/2 size of a grain ofrice

For about three years I had this small lump about half the size of a rice grain located between the epididymis and the body of the left testicle. I do not have any other symptoms accociated with T/C and I have had this lump for some years and I feel normal. It never increased or decreased in size. When I first discoverd it I knew nothing of this disease. I suspect that it might not be cancer becuase of the length of time I had this lump but I still need some reassurance doc since the next doctor's appointment is next month. This occured in the left testicle which is not fallen completely into the scrotum.

A cyst, infection, or mass can all be considered.
Imaging the lesion can be done with an ultrasound, which can possibly exclude cancer.
Obtaining urine tests and a urethral swab can evaluate for infection.
I would also image the scrotum to exclude masses or anatomical abnormalities there as well.
These options should be discussed with your personal urologist.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
