About 6 months ago, I had a

Urethral stricture to an NSU that was not diagnosed soon enough). Since then, flow is fine and no midnight trips to the bathroom. Despite these sucesses, I am still sore and constantly aware of the discomfort. Soreness is specifically located at the end of my

Penis pain around the urethra (which is slightly red) and is not terribly painful but obvious. There is no problem urinating, however my urethra becomes increasingly more sore upon ejaculation. I have returned to the urologist and complained about this. He tested my urine and found no blood, pus or white/red blood cells; he also confirmed that my urine flow was very good. He examined my urethra and concluded that it is not overly red and is simply taking time to heal as a result of urine being acidic in nature. I believe that this is far-fetched, especially considering I am only 26 years old and am in otherwise prime healing condition. My question is this: is it common that it would take this long to heal after the cystoscopy? and if not, what possibly could be happening? Bacterial or fungal infection? Trauma? Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give me.
