Primary infertility. Additionally, bleeding and infection, which present typically as a scrotal hematoma or a wound infection, can occur. Studies suggest that bleeding complication and infection rates following scrotal surgery of 17% and 10%, respectively.
If sclerotherapy was used (i.e. whether your urologist used sclerosing agents), patients can have a firmer scrotal wall as a result of the inflammatory reaction within the scrotum and the resultant fibrin deposition.
An ultrasound as well as an exam by your urologist can determine whether your complication is normal or not.
