Stent Removal-No Problem

I had a very large kidney stone blasted through lithotripsy.  I was asleep for that procedure so no problem.  When I awoke I learned I had a ureter stent which had to be removed in one week.  I knew nothing about stent removal so I turned to the internet.  This was a HUGE MISTAKE.  Everything I read scared me more and more.  Well, I have had the stent removed and it was nothing!!  I coughed and it was out!  So, the moral of this is don't assume everything you read, on the internet, is correct.
