Swollen Testie

  My Left Testicle is swollen and there is a big black and blue mark on it. There is some mild pain at rest and more when running,etc.. Please use ENGLISH words not the doctor type.

Multiple differential diagnosis can be made  over the internet;  Testicular trauma with bruising , a  varicocele ( a varicose vein of the testicular cord ), a normal vein of the scrotal wall and a hydrocele ( a fluid filled sac  around the testicle ) , or possibily  a torsed appendix testes ( a twisted tag of tissue which normally projects from the testicle).  You understand  we can not make a diagnosis over the internet and recommend you see a doctor so he can examine the scrotal contents.
