Swollen scrotum
My friend has a small grapefruit- sized lump in his scrotum.  He will not go do the doctor because he has no health insurance.  I believe this is serious.  He is sometimes in pain because of this.

Hi,
A scrotal mass or lump  can due to inflammatory or infectious diseases, trauma, hernia, or possible tumor. Other harmless conditions include Hydrocele or fluid collection in the scrotum and spermatocele or cyst-like mass within the scrotum. It is important that he see his doctor for proper evaluation. Direct clinical examination and his medical history are important to determine the underlying cause. Other tests such as ultrasound or biopsy may also be indicated. Take care and best regards.
