Symptoms on a penis

I am 22, uncircumcised and virgin. I have had trouble retracting my penis all the way through most of my life. I could do it when flacid but it was difficult with an erection. Anyway, I went through much of this summer helping it by going to a urologist and taking steroid creams ( hydrocortizone 2.5% and ketonazole 2%, mixed together). I also masturbated often so I believe this was the reason why he noticed a rash. Anyway, I never felt much of a pain there but I was put on 2 days of fluconazole and then afterwards (when I told him that i had insurance) for five days.

Two weeks ago i felt stinging pain on my foreskin and noticed that it had a rash on it. I went back to the doctor and he put me on 5 more days of anti fungal fluconazole and told me to keep using the cream. Since then the pain has not been as bad but the redness seems to have remained and in fact looks quite strong. I also have noticed redness on the tip of the foreskin, which, when rolled back, forms into pimples. Furthermore, I noticed that my penis looks scaly and has become to peel. I perhaps blame this in the past on not realizing that I was using a scented dove soap to clean in that area, which I have since stopped. But it doesnt respond to well to using mild dove either. Should I do away with soap altogether when cleaning? Especially since the times I noticed peeling was during the days when I had used the soap.

Anyway, I am quite confused and scared.

Here is what it looks like now. I have been using clotrimazole for just over 3 days and it looks a bit better on the foreskin but I have gotten wierd red spots on my glans. Are these side-effects dangerous? Should I stop the use?

I have been using clotrimazole for two days now and just now I noticed my penis glans seems to have broken out in small red patches around it. The foreskin area seems to be healing a little, but what accounts for these red spots on my penis? Is it a side-effect? Thank yoUu

I went to a doctor recently and her told me to use an antfungal cream and lay off the steroid cream since he said I have been using it for a very long time now (all summer) and he said that it causes fungus if used for a prolonged period of time.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Complete treatment depends on the severity of symptoms and may take 4-6 weeks or even longer. Use the antifungal and steroid cream as prescribed by your doctor and if the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist/urologist and get eczema ruled out.
Hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thank you. How long do these normally last? I have had mine for over 2 weeks now even after I was put on 5 days of fluconazole and a steroid cream. I didnt take the steroid cream for the last week to see the effect. The area inside the foreskin became red and dry and began to peel.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis or balanitis. Oral course of antibiotics is needed .In addition, pls don’t use any cosmetics on the penis, instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin. Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and antimicrobials and steroids prescription.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
