Hi there!

TULIP stands for Transurethral ultrasound-guided laser-induced prostatectomy. The procedure is performed under general or regional anesthesia and takes around and hour to an hour and a half. Possible complications include post operative haematuria, inflammation etc. About 30% of men may experience erectile dysfunction. You could read about the procedure online and also discuss it in detail with your treating doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
