Tearing of penis skin

Tearing of penis skin

About 2 months ago I had unprotected sex with a longtime partner. The next day I got small red dots on the head of my penis that were not raised and were the size of pin heads. They also were not sore. The skin that connects to the head was red and sore to the touch. The red dots went away within 2 days and the irritation of the skin went away in a week and left a kind of pin head sized, darker colored "hole" on that connecting skin. The area was also a bit harder. I got a full Herpes 1+2 and found out to have type 1, so no genital herpes.

This brings me to the real problem. Recently when having sex I got enthusiastic and pushed it in too fast and that skin that connects to the bottom of the head tore and separated the skin for about 1/8" inch. I feel like it tore because the skin was weakened in that area. Now there is no strong "tendon-like" skin there so it hurts to pull my foreskin back (I'm uncircumcised) because the connecting skin there now is not strong. My questions are:

1. What do you think the initial irritation was?
2. Can the connecting skin be repaired?

1/8" is quite a small gap, and is probably just from the physical pulling apart of the skin.

It will take around 10 days for the skin to heal.

When it's healed the scarred skin will be stronger than the skin around the healed wound.

This has nothing to do with HSV1.

Most with this kind of injury do not have any long-lasting consequences.
