Testicle Pain

I begun to get a pain in one side of my left testicle in mid August and two weeks later visited my GP. He checked for irregularities and found nothing so believing it to be Epididymitis prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg (2 a day for 2 weeks). After 2 weeks there was no improvement so I return to the GP. He said that the antibiotics he prescribed were strong so as they hadn't had any effect it was clearly not a bacterial problem. He said it is likely to be trauma and prescribed Dicloflex 50mg (3 a day for 3 weeks). I am one week into this course and still have no improvement.

Having looked at various websites it seems that Epididymitis is still the likely problem and that perhaps 2 weeks worth of antibiotics is not enough. Please could you give me your view.

I have no other issues (no pain when urinating, no lumps) - perhaps some aching arounf the spemadic duct on the left testicle.

My wife and I were going to start trying for a baby this week. Should we wait until this has cleared up?
