Testicular Problems HELP!

by Eleven_Eleven, May 29, 2009 07:15PM
I have already posted on here but feel a need to do so again. I am a 21 year old male and 2 months ago I had a sudden onset of unilateral testicular pain that was severe. Shortly following the pain, I had a few painful ejaculations and my bladder felt like it was twitching or like I would lose control of it. Over a period of weeks the pain faded but I still believe that there is a physical problem. My left testical now lies differently than before (It is lower and slightly horizontal). My sexual function is also greatly impaired. I have an extremely difficult time achieving orgasm(sometimes I cant even do it). I used to have no problem doing it in like 2 minutes. I also developed an extremely sore lower back that makes it difficult to sleep. All of these symptoms started after the sudden onset of testicular pain 2 months ago. It may also be worth mentioning that the pain started a few hours after I had an MRI done on my brain that left me feeling funny. I have seen a few doctors who insist there is nothing wrong with me and that my problems are all in my head. First of all, do you have any idea what type of problem would cause these symptms? Second, do you reccommend I seek out different specialists that are willing to perform actual tests etc? I am extremely depressed. Please help!

I do not remember your previous  post or my answer, however I do not understand a physical relationship with either the pain or your MRI. I think that there likely is an emotional cause for your concerns and I would recommend an emotional evaluation earlier rather than later. Your best chance in resolving  this successfully  is in early treatment.
A psychiatrist or clinical psychologist/psychiatric social worker can offer you some help.
