Thinned/damaged skin at corona sulcus

I have been in almost constant pain for the past few weeks.  This is because I had an injury a few months ago in which my skin around the corona sulcus of my penis was stretched from excessively masturbating one time.  This inital act left a white area about the size of small button in the area on the penile shaft just where it joins the glans penis (presumably thinned skin).  I was in severe pain then, but this area had healed and I was without pain for a while, but now a constant pain has emerged.  I notice that night erections will exacerbate the pain since the skin is stretched from that happening.  Also, this area is in constant contact with clothing; I've tried repositioning my penis so this doesn't occur, but it's just not possible.  I have ceased masturbation (for the rest of my life after this in fact!) and have not been having sex.  I eat generally heathly and don't smoke or abuse alcohol.

It seems like I have nearly exposed nerve endings.  Is this skin permanently ruined or is there hope?  I don't know if skin grafting is an option since the pain is originating next to (if not on) the ridge of the glans penis.  What options might I have?

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

it sounds like you have more of an internal injury.you should be able to stretch the skin without any damage like when a circumcised man performs foreskin restoration.skin from your scrotum could be grafted but i do not think it would help.you should go to a doctor preferably a urologist.

Like when a circumcised man performs foreskin restoration? Well, all I can say is that foreskin restoration indeed CAN overstretch and damage skin! Stretching penile skin effects the collagen and elastine structure in the deep layers of the skin. The tissue becomes loose and thinned out. I speak out of my own experience! Although I am a biologist who should have known it better, I really tried to restore a foreskin to my circumcised penis. And it didn´t work! All I got now is loose and thin skin. Ideed, I DID damage my skin by stretching.

So in the case described above I would say I really do believe that Monkdogma´s skin could have been damaged by stretching. Collagen repair ist difficult, but in some cases can be successfull. If so, It can take years. Elastine repair is even more difficult. It is believed that elastine cannot be produced anymore after puberty.

See a plastic surgeon. It is possible to remove the damaged skin and replace it by a skin graft from an other part of your body.

Good luck!

I think I had the same problem back when I was 12. The skin started to burn slightly at first, then afterwards, it dried out and started to peel, and this white semi-solid substance which was right under the coronal sulcus started to appear as the skin peeled. After a while, the skin completely peeled away, and the pain was gone. I'm 25 now and starting to wonder, was that normal?
