To answer your questions:
1) No. Testing the urine and prostatic fluid needs to be done separately to exclude the possibility of bacteria.
2) If the symptoms continue, I would suggest having the prostatic fluid checked. I cannot comment as to why it wasn't.
3) Hernias can be diagnosed clinically. If there is question about the diagnosis, a CT scan can be considered to confirm the diagnosis. A referral to a general surgeon should be considered if a hernia is present.
