UTI in baby girls

by jonoshwi, Mar 16, 2009 03:56PM
My 19 month old daughter has had numerous UTIs. Two have been so severe she was hospitalized. The doctors are, generally speaking, idiots who follow the test results at the expense of patient history. I feel like I'm paying for my daughter's college due to the incompetence of trained physicians.

All the symptons of another UTI are in the making. I recently heard something about cystic cystitis or words to that effect. It was labeled a 'disease' and essentially states that healthy eating (acidic foods, including fruits) can cause something to go wrong in the bladder that results in a severe UTI. Since the medical community in this part of the has never raised this issue w/us I thought I'd see if anyone else had heard of it and could refer to me a good piece of literature or organization affiliated with it. Thanks.
